H.E. Ambassador Tefera Derbew held a discussion with government officials and technical experts from various livestock-related institutions in Ethiopia at the Embassy`s premises on November 9, 2023.
During their discussion, the delegates expressed their gratitude to the Ambassador for all the support the Embassy provided to them during their stay in China and briefed him about the experiences they gained from their Chinese counterparts regarding meat and meat products quarantine and inspection.
H.E. Ambassador Tefera Derbew, for his part, welcomed the delegates to the Embassy and gave them an update on the efforts done over the past two years to persuade the Chinese authorities to allow the importation of meat from Ethiopia into the Chinese market.
