On 6 March 2023, H.E. Ambassador Dawano Kedir, Deputy Head of Mission and who is currently Chargé d’affaire of Ethiopian Embassy, attended at the closing ceremony of the “Five training Seminars” in an in an event organized by the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO), in Beijing. Mr. Ling Ji, Vice Minister and Deputy International Trade Representative of the Ministry of Commerce and Ambassadors of South Sudan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan participated.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Dawano commended the organizer, the sponsor and the professors for their dedication and continuous contribution to conclude the training seminars successfully. He further emphasized on the need to strengthen ties with China to enhance all-round development under the frameworks of BRI and FOCAC.
The two weeks training Seminars were focusing on trade promotion, experience sharing, development assistance, poverty alleviation and cross-border e-commerce; in which 20 Ethiopians attended at the training.
