On 08 July 2022, Deputy Head of Mission Ambassador Dawano Kedir, held fruitful discussion with Mr. Zhang Qingfeng,Vice Chairman of China Fruit Marketing Association on the ways in which facilitating the fruit market of the two countries.
Ambassador Dawano noted that Ethiopian government is highly devoted to boost fruit product and productivity. He elaborated the ever increasing production capacity and export size of avocado has shown the reality on the ground. Deputy Head of Mission called the China Fruit Marketing Association to played their role on promoting Ethiopian fruit products to Chinese users.
Mr. Zhang Qingfeng on his part said that China is a big fruit producer while at the same time a big consumer and he mentioned the association needs to work closely with Ethiopian companies whom are currently working on fruit sector to enhance mutual benefit.
