Ambassador Teshome Toga briefed African ambassadors based in Beijing on the current situation of Ethiopia.
In his briefing, the Ambassador highlighted on the atrocity that happening by the TPLF group on innocent people in the northern parts of Ethiopia and, he noted that the Ethiopian government has been extended its hand to peace since before the conflict broke out in the country.
Ambassador Teshome also stated that the defensive measure that has taken by Ethiopia is to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ethiopia and the lives and wellbeing of Ethiopians.
Noting that Ethiopia firmly believes to solve problems that faced in the country together with Africans the Ambassador said, Ethiopia is grateful to Africans for which opposed the resolution to renew the mandate of the International Commission of Human Rights Experts on Ethiopia (ICHREE) in Geneva.
African ambassadors also expressed their gratitude for given an explanation on the development of current situation in Ethiopia from the embassy and they all expressed their confidence that Ethiopia will solve its problems on its own and they reaffirmed to continue their support to Ethiopia.
