The anniversary of establishment of Luban workshop in Ethiopia has celebrated colorfully. The program held via webinar at Tianjin University of Technology and Education in China and Ethiopian Technical and Vocational Training Institute at the same time.
Ethiopian Engineering Practice Innovation Project (EPIP) Research Center (Technical and Vocational Training Institute) and China-Africa (Ethiopia) Industrial Robot Technology Friendship Competition is launched on the program.
Dr. Teshale Berecha, Director General of the Ethiopian Institute of Technical and Vocational Training, and Professor Zhang Jingang, Chairman of the School Affairs Committee of Tianjin University of Technology and Education delivered their opening remarks.
They highly affirmed the achievements of one year operation of the Luban Workshop in Ethiopia and the technical support that has been provided by the team of experts of the colleges and universities for the skill training and teaching resources.
From May to July 2022, the two schools will set up a team of experts in the relevant fields of the two countries to carry out competitions by using the industrial robot platform of luban Workshop.
The Luban workshop in Ethiopia was launched on April 28, 2021. Since started the operation, Ethiopian Technical and Vocational Training Institute has been working in close collaboration with Tianjin University of Technology and Education, one of the distinguished technical Universities in China.
