The Seniors Officials Meeting of the 2nd Horn Africa Peace conference had held successfully on 24 June 2024 in Beijing.

Member countries represented at the conference from their respective head offices. While respective embassies of the member countries in China attended the meeting. The Ethiopian delegates led by H.E. Ambassador Gebeyehu Ganga actively participated at the event and had a fruitful sideline discussion with the Officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China and with Officilas of member countries. This conference is a continuation of the 1st conference, which was held in Addis Ababa in June 2022. The implementations of the action plan of the Horn of Africa Initiatives in the past two years were reviewed during this meeting.
