Seminar on High-Quality Development of China-Africa Investment and Financing cooperation

On June 2, the seminar on high-quality development of China-Africa investment and financing cooperation jointly supported by the China Development Bank and the Office of the United Nations Resident Coordinator in China, jointly organized by the China-Africa Development Fund and the Ethiopian Embassy in China, was held at the Ethiopian Embassy in Beijing with the theme of “Serve China-Africa Cooperation and Promote Common Development”, the seminar focused on promoting friendly cooperation between China and Africa, gathering consensus and wisdom, matching needs and opportunities, and building a platform for exchanges and cooperation among all parties.

Ethiopian Ambassador to China H.E. Amb. Tefera Derbew said that over the past 20 years, China-Africa cooperative partnership has made great progress, and China-Africa cooperation has developed into a vigorous force, promoting the common development of China and Africa, especially in infrastructure investment cooperation, it has achieved great cooperation results, promoted the construction of key infrastructure such as railways, highways, ports, promoted regional integration, and also driven investment in agriculture, manufacturing, energy and telecommunications. Infrastructure investment benefits the African continent and contributes to its sustainable economic development.
