የቻይናው ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ክቡር ሊ ኪያንግ ለክቡር ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አህመድ ይፋዊ አቀባበል አድርገውላቸዋል:: የአቀባበል ሥነ ሥርዓቱ የሁለቱን ሀገራት ጠንካራ ግንኙነት በሚያመለክት ሁናቴ ተከናውኗል::
በሁለትዮሽ ውይይታቸው ወቅትም መሪዎቹ በሁለቱ ሀገራት መካከል ያለውን የምጣኔ ኃብት ትብብር ግንኙነት ማጠናከሪያ መንገዶች ላይ ተወያይተዋል::
ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ሊ ኪያንግ ሁለቱ ሀገራት በማደግ እና በመጎምራት ላይ ያለ ኢኮኖሚ ባለቤቶች እንደመሆናቸው በጋራ የማደጊያ መንገዶችን ሊቀይሱ እንደሚችሉ አውስተዋል:: ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አህመድ በበኩላቸው የመንግስታቸውን ባለብዙ ዘርፍ የእድገት አላማ ብሎም የተገኙ ድሎችን አካፍለዋል:: በተጨማሪም ከቻይና ጋር የንግድ ግንኙነቶችን የማስፋፋትን አስፈላጊነት አፅንዖት ሰጥተው አንስተዋል::
ከሁለትዮሹ ውይይት በመቀጠልም ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አህመድ እና ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ክቡር ሊ ኪያንግ በሁለቱ ሀገራት መካከል በተለያዩ መስኮች አስራ ሁለት ያህል የትብብር ስምምነቶች ብሎም ሁለት የፍላጎት ሰነዶች በተፈረሙበት ሥነ ሥርዓት ላይ ተገኝተዋል::
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed was received by Premier Li Qiang in an official welcoming ceremony demonstrative of the strong relations between the two countries.
During the bilateral meeting, the two leaders discussed on ways of enhancing economic cooperation between Ethiopia and China. Premier Li Qiang highlighted that both countries are developing and emerging economies that can seek ways of growing together. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on his part shared the multifaceted growth objectives of the government and development achievements gained thus far. He further emphasised the need to expand trade partnership with China.
Following the bilateral meeting, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Premier Li Qiang presided over the signing of 12 cooperation agreements and 2 letters of intent in various fields.
