On May 16, 2024, the Ethiopian Embassy in Beijing participated in the Cultural Festival held at the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing, China. A representative from the Embassy has delivered a speech, highlighting the friendly relations between Ethiopia and China.
He reiterated the cultural exchange and historical ties between China and Africa. He added that Ethiopia and China shared a journey of discovery, collaboration, and friendship from the ancient Silk Road to the modern era. During the ceremony, Professor Huang Baoy, Chair of the University Committee, Prof. Zhao Zhong, President of the UIBE, and Ambassadors and Representatives from different countries were present.
