The Ethiopian Airlines has just celebrated the 50 years anniversary of its presence in China. On the occasion jointly hosted by the Ethiopian and the FDRE Embassy in the People’s Republic of China, H.E. Ambassador Tefera Derbew has conveyed a congratulatory message underscoring the crucial role played by the Ethiopian serving as a bridge in bringing people together; connecting investment and tourism and even as witnessed in the recent times engaging in life saving operations during the covid pandemic to mention the few among other significant contributions of the Airline. Similar messages has also been conveyed by Mr. Zhou Ping, Deputy Director General of the Department of African Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China; H.E. Ambassador Martin Mpana, Dean of the African Diplomatic Missions to People’s Republic of China; Mrs Zhao Ying, Vice General Manager of Beijing Capital International Airport. On the other hand, H.E. Mr. Mesfin Tasew, Ethiopian Airlines Group Chif Executive has thanked all for their presence and the warm hospitality accorded.
