የኢትዮጵያ ኢንቨስትመንት ኮሚሽን ከውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒሰቴርና ከኢትዮጵያ ቻይና ወዳጅነትና የትብብር ኮሚቴ ጋር በጋራ በመሆን የሁለት ቀናት የኢትዮ-ቻይና ቢዝነስ ፎረም አካሄደ።
በፎረሙ ላይ የውሃና ኢነርጂ እንዲሁም የኮንስትራክሽን ከተማ ልማት ሚኒሰቴር ከፍተኛ የስራ ሃላፊዎች ተገኝተዋል።
ለሁለት ቀናት በተካሄደው ፎረም ከተለያዩ ዘርፎች የተውጣጡና ከ100 በላይ የሚሆኑ አባላትን ያካተተው የቻይና የቢዝነስ የልዑካን ቡድን ተሳታፊ ሆነዋል።
ኢትዮጵያ መንግሥት ተወካዮች ሁለቱ ሃገራት ጠንካራ የቢዝነስና ኢንቨስትመንት ግንኘነት ያላቸው መሆኑን ገልጸው፣ ኢትዮጵያ ካላት ትልቅ እምቅ ሃብት አንፃር የቻይና ባለሀብቶች በተለያዩ ዘርፎች መዋዕለ ነዋያቸውን በሃገሪቷ አንዲያፈስሱ ጥሪ አቅርበዋል።
በፎረሙ የተሳተፉ ባለሀብቶች ከኢንቨስትመንት ጋር በተያያዘ ላነሷቸው የተለያዩ ጥያቄዎች ማብራሪያና ምላሽ ተሰጥቷል።
ፎረሙ በተካሄደበት ወቅት በኢትዮጵያ የኃይል ዘርፍ አቅርቦትን ለማሳደግ የሚያስችል የመግባቢያ ስምምነት የኢትዮጵያ ኢንቨስትመንት ኮሚሽን ከኢትዮ-ቻይና ወዳጅነትና ትብብር ኮሚቴ ጋር ተፈራርሟል።
Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC), along with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, co-hosted a two-day Ethio-China Business Forum along with the Ethiopia-China Cooperation Committee.
The event was attended by high officials including from the Ministry of Water and Energy, the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development.
The Chinese delegation consisted of more than 100 large companies from different sectors.
Ethiopian government representatives highlighted the strong business and investment relations between the two countries and the immense potential for additional investment across various sectors in Ethiopia.
Investor inquiries were addressed through a government-to-business engagement.
EIC and Ethio-China Friendship and Corporation Committee signed an MoU on the sidelines of the Forum to collaborate on investment promotion and facilitation; and to co-develop the Ethiopia Light Up Village Program.
